I was the first manager Halo-Halo Network's Instagram account when it was created in 2021. Now, it has grown to almost 2,500 followers. I conceptualized and designed social media publicity materials for Halo-Halo events such as fundraising concerts and book readings. Since 2023, I co-manage the Instagram account with several others and occasionally post interesting quotes, data and statistics. Some of the content that I have created are showcased below.
Livestream
I have done several livestreams of online and in-person events via YouTube and Facebook Live. Below is a snippet of an online benefit concert in 2021, for which I set up the technical back-end infrastructure and designed the front-end look of the livestream. More information on this event here.
Website
My experience with website design and development dates all the way back to the 1990s. In my pre-teens, I had a fascination for HTML-Coding. For the longest time in the late 90s, I managed and operated a huge fansite for a Holywood actor I admired (I bet you don't know him). After that, I moved to blogging and designing layouts for blogs. I also had a good number of website development or design commissions. Though all that dwindled when I started doing my PhD, I recently rekindled my web-management skill with the Halo-Halo Network.
The Halo-Halo Network
I was the first webmaster of the Halo-Halo Network website when it started in 2021. I managed the site singlehandedly for four years, where I wrote blog posts and edited blog contributions by members of the community.
Central Visayan Institute Foundation (CVIF)
For a while throughout the 2000s, I created and managed the website of CVIF and their research institutes. I designed the site layout and set it up with HTML. This was quite a feat for me to program, with scrolling updates and a menu bar that opens to sub-options. Of course, these days that's nothing special, but back then, it was all old-school HTML programmed in Notepad.
Multiply Theme: Asiawise
The now-obsolete social media platform Multiply was set up in such a way that each individual user could customize their multiply page... if they knew CSS. I had a side-gig in the 2000s designing layouts for users and businesses on Multiply. Here's one example for a tutorial center called Asiawise.

Personal Blog
I had a personal blog that I started towards the end of the 90s, when blogging was all the rage. I designed numerous layouts my blog and my friend's blogs. Unfortunately, this was the only layout that I could recover from my old files. This was one of the last designs I made in the early 2000s and it required iframes. I remember when I discovered iframes, it just opened the floodgates to my layouting creativity, because I was no longer bound to the usual margins of the page.
